Unraveled
A hilarious tale of murder in the suburbs.

Forty-something Jessalynn Grant might be successful and pretty, but she is also vain, selfish, and lonely. She certainly does not fit in with the PTA moms in her private Long Island beach community. A veteran of online dating, she is trying to find true love, or at least some company while she watches HGTV. Too bad the men she meets are mostly balding divorced dads with bad teeth or Tony Soprano wannabes who still live with their mothers.
And now, after yet another date with yet another Mr. Not Quite Right, Jessalynn is experiencing the mother of all blackouts, waking up on her kitchen floor with no memory of the night before. Over the course of a week, Jessalynn’s carefully scheduled existence begins to unravel. Her date is missing, and so is her most expensive pair of underwear. She suddenly has a dog, and her weird neighbor wants to be her new best friend. She’s flirting with the detective on the missing person’s case, while long buried secrets and gruesome clues are coming back to haunt her. Will Jessalynn ever get her happily ever after, and does she even care anymore? And did she remember to walk the dog?
This darkly comic thriller explores how women are still expected to look, behave, and conform, and how that just might drive us to commit murder.
